What is the Lord telling us?

If you are like me, you want to be where God is. Not that God is not everywhere, but there seems to be a place where His blessings abound and His Glory manifests differently. Kind of like being in the center of the shower, instead of the edges.

So, for Al & I, along with our wives, we are seeking what God wants for us. I just got off the phone with a man who had applied for a job, that over the weekend through a men's retreat, he saw that the fit was not right. Not his gifts. So, rather than barge through, he made the decision to withdraw his name.

We all want to be in the center of God and where He is like that, it is "heaven." It is a place of favor, of anointing and blessing. Things are in the "zone." Things that did not work well, work with power and might. I am not talking about praying something to happen that is not God's will, but seeking His will and getting in the middle of it.

Many would tell you that there are a lot of Christian business people that people will not hire again. Why? Jobs not completed, promises broken, etc.. Been there? Our purpose is to cause business people to be people of integrity because they see it as God's will. God's will is not lesser integrity.

Many business people fail because they did not do their homework. For some that may mean opening a book or reading a website to get help. Others need people more knowledgeable in business to move ahead to the next realm. "I am going to be a millionaire." Many people say that. Why get into business unless you are not thinking bigger than your circumstances? But most of us, do not know the steps to get ahead to that place. Rare is the man or woman who has a plan laid out to be successful. My friend Al and I are voracious readers. Many wealthy people of God have done this "millionaire" thing and have shared their principles for moving ahead. I personally am reading a 52 week study for business people.

I have made more mistakes than I care to think about. For instance, I started a coffee business. In three days we had 5,000 plus orders. It required my whole family to stuff packages, enclose flyers and get them to the post office. There is a lot more to the story, but it was time of incredible stress. Sure it turned into pallet loads of coffee to Texas...BUT, if I was the whole show, nothing was going to work.

We all make mistakes. The man or woman who says that they don't is not being honest. That said, our goal is to help you be more successful in your business. To be more Christlike in your interactions with one another. To see the Glory of God be upon you. To pursue His Kingdom and His righteousness.

We want to help you. We hope you will help us, as we help you.
