Why do this?

Many of my friends have asked me why I would undertake this. So, perhaps a little explanation is in order. I love business. I think there is something cool about seeing systems operate and produce answers; including profit, employment and change.

Over many years I have received all types of words about business. Some right. Some unclear. One of those words had to do with the ministry of Joseph. Now do not get me wrong. I think Joseph had an important ministry. Yes, his life was on the line. But in real life he was an administrator. A tremendous gift of administration. But what about being in business? Abraham was in business...BIG TIME! And for me, that is kind of where I live. Being in business.

I have pastored for 12 years. I recently made the decision to move into my prophetic-administrative gift. And in the church, I am ordaining one of my friends, along with licensing two others in January 2008. And, so the idea of moving into business as "my ministry" is kind of where I feel comfortable.

I am about seeing the Kingdom moved forward. Advancing. I am about the reclamation of the culture. I am abut people being in business and not just being self employed and not making a dime, and having children reject mom or dad's career.

This ministry will open up doors for reaching the lost, but mostly it will focus on being good stewards of what we have been given, and how to be better. We will provide a venue for networking, education to get better and a desire to see HIS KINGDOM COME!

Anyone that has known me for any length of time, knows I am passionate about Him. And what better way than to fulfill my calling, than with Him. For too long, the church has seen business as second class citizenry, when the Bible tells us many were called to business. The elders of the church did business at the wall's gates. We must make the "profane" holy, by seeing what God is saying.

And with that, I hope you enjoy this adventure as much as I am.
