Holy Days

Jesus, the name above all names.
The reason for the celebration of Easter. And yet, the power that released Him from the grave is available each and every day. Have you celebrated Jesus today?
We do not have to wait for a "holy day". Jesus is there today, in your life, waiting for you to call out His name. Celebrate Him. I have had people ask what my message will be for Easter. Probably my message for today and yesterday. Jesus is alive and doing miracles in our midst. I watched two people's lives changed so dramatically. Myself and others prayed for two people and watched years of demonic oppression scatter before the name of Jesus. The Gospel of Jesus. Do you want to be more like Him? The gospels of John, Mark, Luke and Matthew speak of the POWER of Jesus. Of His love and compassion, of His anger towards religious acts without faith and the hurt they caused, of His desire to do the Father's work.
The power to overcome is in the grace He has extended you. All you need to do is receive it. Cry out "abba, father". Don't wait for a "holy day", this is the day the Lord hath made, rejoice and be glad in it.
His power is in the believer. You have all of Jesus. There is more power in a drop of the blood of Jesus, than you will ever imagine. The blood of Jesus, the dynamite, working power of Jesus, the cross-oh, but Satan made a major mistake the day he worked for the cross. Lay your troubles and cares at the feet of your Lord. Your forgiveness was met at Calvary. Let Jesus' flood your heart today with celebration, with victory.
People look at our church (and many of you are in the same ark!), its people and they label us. Because we dance and sing and worship God. Well, I guess that makes us more like David or Jesus. Celebrate Jesus. Jesus is a reason to celebrate. When you see a man or woman delivered from years of oppression, by the name of Jesus, it is more than enough reason to sing and shout the high praises of the Lord Jesus.
