Breastplate of Righteousness

Give it away. Work in an opposite spirit. These are phrases you hear often here at our church and ministry.
Many have asked what does this all mean today.
Everytime I think of prayer, I find that it is fast becoming my most important need. I need to get up and talk to my Father. It's not a question of want to anymore. I need my Jesus.
I want the full power of God working in my life. More importantly, I need it. I need Jesus in His entirety. I asked a man last night if He had Jesus in his heart. He replied "75%". I asked him, "How can you separate, and what is the 75% you have? How could you operate with only 3/4s of your body.
Each one of us has the entire working power of Jesus Christ in us, when we receive Him as Lord and Savior. The same power that raised Him from the dead, is available to you. Now, if you decide you only want to operate in 75% capacity...it would be akin to removing an arm and deciding to play pro football(fortunately for some of us-operating at 3/4 power with Jesus is still powerful!). But Jesus, wants you to abide in Him. The fullness of Him. If you are to more like Jesus, you need to see that His commission to each one of us is to present His love, heal the sick, raise the dead, and preach the Word of God.
People ask me if we are a praise ministry, are you a deliverance ministry, are you a prophetic ministry?
How can we be only one part of Jesus? If deliverance is needed we are that. If healing is needed we are that. There are certain outreaches that we do not have the capacity to fill(for instance-prison ministry), but there is a sister church who is established in that outreach. So, I tell my people who are interested in prison ministry-go there...and heal the sick, preach the Word, and raise the dead if necessary.
As I preached on Sunday, I realized that there was a freshness on the Lord's Prayer. And I continued on to the following scriptures:
Matthew 6
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
So many people want power. Dynamite working power! God tells us very clearly how to pray, and we are OK about that til here. So many people want to engage in spiritual warfare. Great. But if you go out without the breastplate of righteousness:
Ep.6:14
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;This dear friends is a commandment. Unforgiveness, tarnishes, puts holes and ultimately removes the breastplate of righteousness. Can you imagine a bullet headed towards a policeman without bullet proof vest?
We have forgiveness of sin, you say. Have you appropriated it? Have you taken it? Do you look at this scripture group and feel a conviction? There may be unforgiveness towards ourselves, towards a spouse, towards a boss-work on it. Do not go into the world and be a half-dressed Christian. If you want power to do battle, this is the preparation stage. Do you have your armor on?
