Prayer Changes

Today, Stacy had her child. The baby's name is Catherine Marie (for the women folk-she weighed 8lbs.8oz.-though I confess the length is beyond me.). Mom is doing ok. There was a period of time where she began to hemorrhage, but the enemy was defeated when the saints began to pray. Many thanks to the churches who participated in lifting the name of Jesus. 5 churches and their prayers began to roll against the spiritual darkness. By the time Tina and I arrived at the hospital, hemorrhaging had subsided, blood pressure had stabilized and she was doing well.
We bless God for the life He has given.
The saints in prayer-what an awesome concept. Meditate on good things. Imagine the angels of the universe taking up arms against the rulers of darkness. Two weeks ago I said, "if God wanted us to be removed from prayer-the good angels would have been just a bit stronger". Then I heard another pastor speak nearly the same thing on Friday. The battle is ours. Prayer changes destinies.Changing the way things are through prayer;
James 5:16b
...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.1 John 5
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.And the will of God is that which the scriptures have laid out, as well as that which the Holy Ghost brings to us. Great things. God things. The saints begin to pray. In the last few days, we have seen the power of prayer defeat the darkness.
I share this with you. This ministry of email, has received numerous prayer request, despite the fact it began just days ago. We received a letter from an Oklahoma pastor, for prayer for his family situation and the financial straits they are in. A sister in northern Vermont wrote for prayer for finances and Godly wisdom. A man for his marriage that has been pulled apart.
Today if you would. Pray. Pray for the people, for families, churches, cities and states, lift the petitions to the heavenlies for the nations. Would God say pray for the nations, if He wasn't able to move on these "God-size" prayers? We are praying for you today.
This weekend as you prepare your hearts for your celebration of Jesus, lift up those services. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise. Move mountains with your praise and worship. Be loosed from the burdens and cares of the world. Be lifters of hands, lift those less fortunate. Share the Good News of Jesus. For what would be good news to the poor, the weak, the lame, the blind? Be fishers of men, prayers for change, transparent that Christ would shine through to a nation.
I love you and pray for you this weekend. Believing for the miracles and changes in your lives.
