7/24/97 Where Are You?
Dear Friends:

(If it is welcome and a blessing, send it on to others,Lee)

Walking in what you know.

Do you walk in what you know? Have you learned that carrying anger past sunset is wrong, and yet you still do it? Have you not gotten jealous over friends who have begun new relationships, and have less time for you?

"Comfortable sins." God seems to be requiring more of His people, or perhaps he is just making it more eveident to us in these days. But I have found that things that "I will change tomorrow" are here to be dealt with today. Many people in our church have said they feel like they can get away with nothing. (Not that they should have anyhow!!!) There is a wave of holiness that is occuring in God 's people. I call it "feel the heat". People who have walked many years with the Lord are feeling the fire that removes all sin.

The Word that you know, you are accountable for; to operate in and fulfill. Does that open your eyes? I hope so. So many of us think that because we are under grace, we can be sloppy with our walk and God doesn't care. Trust me, He cares. It was sin that separated Jesus from the Father at the cross(Not His, OURS!).

The fire is turned up. God is on the move. There are miracles happening around the world. Great outpourings of His Spirit upon His people. People coming together crying out for the lost, humbling themselves and the result was lives coming to the Lord. And yet one of the greatest side effects of praying for others is God's work in you. The light begins to probe around the closets of your heart, exposing, causing a knowledge that this is the time to deal with this "closet".

Do you walk in what you know? Are you sold out to Him? Time will tell. I know myself. I still have areas of my life that are tomorrow. But the clock is ticking. One of my friends, has said to people in our church (as well as many others!) "are you where you want to be? Just remember where you are is where you want to be, comfortable, because if you weren't you would move to where you say you want to be." Puts a little light on it. Many people say that they want to be this, do that, but the reality is they haven't because they have chosen not to.

Today as you reflect on this, think about some things. Where are you?

Selah.

Shalom.

We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement to you. Please tell us, and please email it to someone else. If you have a prayer request, please mail it to us.
