7/23/97 Abundance

Last night as we sat in cell group something changed for many people. The best part is a great deal of the work was being done in the young people. What began as a discussion regarding miracles, became a discussion of taking authority over the enemy. This morning I had to drive my father to the hospital for chemotherapy, and I realized that his conversion was a miracle, and certainly as great a miracle as many I have witnessed in recent days. I sat in the hospital and I looked around and felt that this "reality" wasn't reality. That Jesus was reality and the only true reality. "I am the way, the truth and the light..." He is all things.
The enemy is nothing. It says that when we see him we will be amazed, that we allowed this insignificant being to cause us so much trouble. Today in part because I am late with this and I apologize for that, but more importantly, I would like you to meditate on this scripture, repeat it, chew it up today. "...I am come that they might have life, and life more abundantly." Is your life with abundance? Is it overflowing with God's goodness? Might could use more. More of Him. Today will concentrate on seeing His fullness come to my life. I pray you will also.
