7/21/97 Healing Waters
(If it is welcome and a blessing, send it on to others,Lee)
Miracle Waters.
Isn't that what being a Christian is all about?
Today, we started service, and it began to change before my very eyes. I intended to speak on relationship and I did for a while, and then the Holy Ghost began to change people and the ministry. What is so awesome is that I was able to step out of the way and witness body ministry. People ministering one to another, not because they had a title, but because they were operating in the Holy Ghost.
And then tonight I attended what a prophetic word had called a miracle night for ourselves and two other churches. And it was.
Miracle waters. Do you need a miracle? They come in all shapes and all forms with the only requirement being, its usually something you can't do or you would have. The reason for writing tonight, is tomorrow I take my dad to Mary Hitchcock in Hanover, NH, to begin chemotherapy. They will keep him for 3 days. I can tell he is afraid.
Have you ever been afraid? My dad is and he needs miracle waters. He needs the love of God and all His healing power to well up around Him. Its hard being a new Christian and facing death head on.
All his years in the military have not prepared for this. This is the time when it is you and the Lord. You realize that your life is in His hands.
Miracles. Isn't that what its all about? If you don't believe in miracles I have compassion for you. But I serve a miracle working God.
He has rescued me from death, from accidents, from falls, and even from myself. He has healed my body, when doctors said no. He has successfully healed my wife from two bouts with cancer, and reconstructed parts of her body, healed her from glaucoma. So what is cancer? Simply another knee to bow to the name of Jesus. All sickness and illness were defeated.
If you have a need, one drop of the blood of Jesus is more than enough to take care of anything.
Who do you serve? Do you serve a God who you have contained? Or do you serve a God who is capable of anything and everything, anytime, anywhere? Think about it. It is easier to serve the latter. It removes the worry (which incidentally means two minds!) and allows you to walk in the freedom of your salvation.
Miracle waters. Be like Peter and begin to walk. Don't be like Peter and listen to the storm.
Shalom.
Selah.
Shalom.
We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement to you. Please tell us, and please email it to someone else. If you have a prayer request, please mail it to us. We want to stand with you, battling spiritual wickedness, seeing people made free. We want to serve our brother and sister.
In the Service of Christ for His Glory,
