What are your obligations? Mine was to get up today and wake my daughter up and I nearly blew it! I stayed up too late reading because I was having a "good day". When I am taking in all the good I can get, longer days are intriguing to me(as opposed to crawling under covers!!!) and I utilize them.

Why was it so good? Glad you asked.

Yesterday as we began to prepare for service we felt the need to pray and pray we did. And service was excellent. For the first time I teetered out onto that "talk" called endtimes and expected one of two things. One was embrace and the other wasn't! I had a young women appear in church with a young couple(Aaron and Karis) and this woman(Christin) and her young son were brought up in the JW's. She lives at home with her mom and sister. Her 4(?) year old began to clap and smile as the music went on. Last night she was told by her family she had to move because she had attended service with us. In the call to inform our people, she gave her life to the Lord. Amen!! (Now we have prayer work to do for her!)

And I received another call last night from a man in our church who has recently begun working in the prison. Last night they have "ice cream" night. This is where a local manufacturer of ice cream donates to the prison. In this hall full of "indulging" men, Jesse asked if he could announce the service. They told him yes and as he announced it the power of God began to come.He said "boldness" began to fall and when they got to the service they had 40(normally theyt have 15!) people who had come to listen to his testimony. Salvations came. We ask you to pray for a man named "Doug". Salvations! Plural. In a prison.(Today they vote on whether we will have a prison here in Springfield-my vote is yes-please pray!)

Is it because I preached on "the end" and people caught it or is the Spirit bringing it??? Either way the obligation to preach what God lays on your s and my hearts is there. What are you obligated to? Is your ear pierced that you are a bondservant of Jesus? My obligation is to get this out on time and today I am behind. Sorry. I was drinking in what the Lord is doing. My wife would tell you that ifd I had the choice I would lock myself up from the world and spend it "all" with Jesus. Maybe that's why He has called me to a long fast. Maybe that's why my mind is swirling with His words and prophetic stuff. I see it coming. Yesterday a young man gave testimony of two visions he had to the church and they are typical of what I am hearing and seeing from others.(Hey, I have a question-how many of you have noticed the "quietness" of the Sprit realm? If more than five come to me with that perhaps that is what I will do a special about. It is quiet. All the noise is gone like fresh snow. When fresh snow comes, I don't have to get up or open the curtains. It is quiet!!! I don't mean God isn't speaking or moving. Here in Vermont it is "quiet"!)

On another thought, last week's Christmas page brought over 2,000 visitors to view the crew here at POCAF. That is amazing. But what it tells me is people are interested in people. And I received a letter from a South African friend of ours. He made a suggestion that I think is valid. That this is becoming an "international", a "virtual" church here at "Come Holy Spirit", and his suggestion was that I introduce the members in the form of picture, name and country with a sentence perhaps to give. I think it is a wild idea. (He has been trying to send me a picture-but he claims his optical character reader keeps going on-probably all caps and exclamation points-Yes, KD, send this letter to your pastor!!!) But send me your picture and I will begin to build a "virtual" church member book. It may take a while, but I think it is a good idea. If you don't know how to do this send me a letter. I feel I am obligated to bring you closer to one another. As I told my church, when the devil looks in and he can not tell where one Christian begins and one ends, he won't be able to do what he would like to do.
