The day before Christmas. What does one say? When we recognize the birth of our Saviour. God born as man. Lowly begnnings, no fanfare(except in heaven and a few shepherds), the expectant parents wondering. Mary in her meditations striving to understand the words of the angel.
Do you and I ever take the time to meditate, to "chew" on the things of the Lord when He comes to us? Perhaps one of the greatest gifts God gave us is the ability to meditate. And quite possibly it is the one that remains "under the tree" more than any other. Unopened. A gift from the King.
Many of us have the holiday times off from work and school. Will we use it appropriately? Will we invite the "birthday" man into our lives? Or will He be forgotten?
A friend extended Christian Christmas greetings to me today. What does that mean? Most of us will pray, many will read the Bible, some will attend church, but how many will spend that "quiet" time meditating, reflecting on His birth and how it has changed our lives? Or will we be full like the "inn" with no room for the birth? Will we come like the shepherds or will we ignore?
No matter how busy it gets I believe we must find time for Him.
Today is the only day you and I have. Can we not find time to sit with the Father? Tina and I want to extend our heartfelt blessings to you this holiday. Many of you are already feeling the stretches and strains of the holiday season. And yet if we spend time with Him things just seem to melt away. We bless you with all that God has for you. We desire that which you have sown would multiply to your accounts and that your relationship with Jesus would empower you to do all that He has asked of you. May God prosper you in all that you endeavour in as the Lord would lead you. Merry CHRISTmas
Selah.
Shalom.
We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement to you. Please tell us, and please email it to someone else. If you have a prayer request, please mail it to us. We want to stand with you, battling spiritual wickedness, seeing people made free. We want to serve our brother and sister.
