"We believe in God the Father, Maker of the universe."

A universal truth, but how personal is it? I woke with that song running through my head, and then realized I was singing it. (My wife is used to me pacing, praying, singing and just keeping her awake! She told when we first got married that my praying gave her a peace.) And as I sat here trying to figure out something I was drawn to "Lord of All", so I guess He is trying to prepare me for something. Amen?

Too many of us see God as the ATM machine(is that redundant?) in the sky, but what/who is He to you? I am realizing that the longer I am a Christian that there is less I know, less I can do. How do non-Christians survive???

I need Jesus. I have the full working power of the Lord in me and I woke up realizing that He IS. Not because the Bible says He IS(that helps), but because I see it. Let me pose this question-do you have Jesus in your heart? And if you do, do you have all or part of Him(and if the answer is only part-how do you do that?)???

Exhousias, the Greek word for authority, as represented by "I am sent by Him(the Father)". Now look at dunamis, the other Greek word for power. The explosive, miracle working, creationary power of the universe. That is all of Jesus concentrated in one place. You need both. You need to know who gives you authority, and you need to know you have TNT and not a pea shooter.

I have gotten to the place in my walk(maybe just today) where I see them both, operative. And to tell you I am wondering why this downloaded today. Revelation. "We believe in God the Father, Maker of the universe." Do I believe it? Oh yeah, You can create the universe, but can you cause me to have ALL my needs(not greeds) met??? Where do you draw the line in the sand???(snow)

I realized on Sunday that because you call yourself a Christian does not a Christian make, (Lee-how naive are you???) anymore than calling a dog a chicken makes it a chicken. SO...somewhere I/we have dropped the ball in the realm of teaching people. To me I think we see a policeman and assume all are alike. We hear the word Christian and assume all are alike. So maybe we go to "Christlike one". I don't know. How did I get there?

The Maker of the Universe. His Word written, because they didn't listen to the spoke Word, only to be replaced by the Living Word.

As the season moves on I want to see Him more and more. And it will take believing like a Christian should, walking like a Christian should, and that means walking in "exhousias" authority. And if you don't know what the authority is, it becomes a difficulty. So let me put your mind at rest-Jesus is all authority. It is quite simply a remembering thing from that point. And when we begin to operate in the authority of the Maker of the Universe-we will see the "dunamis" power of Him manifest with lives saved.

Who sent you? He did. Why are you here? He told me to be. What are you doing? That which He told me to do. Where are you doing this? EVERYWHERE! How will you do this? With POWER.
