Dear Friends:
(If it is welcome and a blessing, send it on to others,Lee)
I just completed the second installment with my dad of his chemotherapy. Three days a month, for 5 months, they say.
But the awesome thing is that he is in a different place than he was two months ago before receiving the Lord into his life. And I know many of you are saying "of course!". But when you have known someone for 40 plus years, and years in prayer didn't seem to change much (do you know that story?)you wonder what's next. And then when he accepted the Lord, I guess I wondered. It was too easy. The doubts wanted to come in. And yet today I saw some subtle changes and even some great big changes.
The Glory goes to the Lord.
The encouragement is don't give up. On anything. Stand. Your prayers are changing the course of history. Your sons and daughters, your relatives, your circumstances can not stand up to the prayers of righteous men and women. There is a war on. And I have been encouraging our church to go beyond. If you prayed 15 minutes, pray 30. Pray an hour, add 15 minutes to it. Why? Because the enemy is not going to stand by and say "oh, all right, I will go somewhere else." I know that somethings take years. But I am willing to stand with you. There is encouraging things going on about the world, in your own backyards. My dad defended his life with a passion, right up til reality set in. And now he sees the work God wants to do. His language his changed, he sees the good in a rainy day, there is people to help.
Have you been standing for a relative or a friend? Today may be the day, that all those hours on your face, on your knees, weeping before the Lord, come to pass. I don't know about you, but I believe God is the God of breakthrough, still doing miracles.
I am praying for you to see that miracle come.
Selah.
Shalom.
We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement to you. Please tell us, and please email it to someone else. If you have a prayer request, please mail it to us. We want to stand with you, battling spiritual wickedness, seeing people made free. We want to serve our brother and sister.
In the Service of Christ for His Glory,
Lee Johndrow
