Walk In The Spirit

I just received a letter from a man in South Germany, and in it he expressed his desire to receive God's revival power in him.

I know that we have something precious in the power of the Lord working in our lives. And yet how often a day, does it escape us, and we leave the spirit mentality and concentrate on the things of the world. The letter talked about the desire to walk in the spirit daily.

I saw that in many parts of the world, daily existence isn't a cake walk. It is real down and dirty, seek to survive. That thought, when we speak of our "bless me" type meetings, is not the same. Life for many is a struggle. Yes, God can set people free. Many have to return to less than adequate living conditions. And we the church need to be there, in prayer and in deed.

I want to see the revival power of God manifest itself in this country and around the world. To see families walk in the spirit of God always. There is no way for us to do this without simplifying our life. This does not mean giving up allthat we have (unless God shows that), but unshackling ourselves from the world and the pull.

I was in a prayer meeting last night. All of a sudden(!), it was hours later. I do not think any of us really knew what time it was. The power of God entered in during a time of worship. Spontaneous prayer began to move. First for the young people and then for the city, and gradually beyond. Prayers for leadership to unite by the power of the spirit. Beyond the "bless me" stage. I believe much damage was done to the kingdom of darkness last night. So how do I get that type of experience into my life?

Hands on. The Word of God is explicit about going beyond. Forgiving, praying, worshipping, staying under the protective wing of the Father. And when we are there, then we are in the Spirit, not needing all the things of the world. That is revival in our hearts, and that is extremely contagious.

And we are in the Spirit of God, prayer flows according to Him, without ceasing. Lives are changed. Yesterday, I saw the results of prayer manifesting itself in the couple I have spoken about. Strengthened, walking upright. No guilt, no condemnation-Grace.

God wants to answer our prayers. In the last few weeks we have seen Him answer the prayers of the people regarding employment. 5 months ago, 7 of our men were unemployed, now all in the last three weeks have jobs. Good jobs. With lots of overtime.

Springfield is seeing old companies that had left, beginning to return, providing many jobs. I receive inquiries from all over the country on my internet company from people who are being called to this area seeking work. There is the belief, a thousand jobs will be available shortly. This is exciting.

God said He would heal this land. Our job is to join in with Him, in what He is doing.
