Pillars of clouds and fire...

Encouragement

Dear Friends:

(If it is welcome and a blessing, send it on to others,Lee)

Encouragement.

Must be what the body of Christ need yesterday. I was inundated with letters of encouragement, about encouragement, scriptures of encouragement. To be honest, I was slightly blown away. This message recieved the most letters of any message I have ever transcribed for the Father. I realized that I was a victim of discouragement, earlier this week, when I found myself walking in a way that caused shortness of breath. I thought (finally), I am 41, a child of God, healthy...this is ridiculous. The circumstances kept mounting, more ministry (those in ministry know there is always more!), more business pressure (I am believing it will be sold), and the day to day things of life. So, I left the house and went for a walk, praying the whole time. This by far has to be one of my most favorite times. Those who saw me on the road, saw purpose in my life, refreshing coming. I came home, more circumstances-no resolution in sight. A friend came and prayed for me. Then I went to the church and began to play warring music, against the enemy. And my spirit began to soar. Brothers and sisters, sometimes there is no one to go to war on your behalf. Sometimes you have to speak into the darkness and dispell the enemy. Why? Because "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world". It is great to have a mailing list of 10k of addresses. But when you are alone, you are with the Father. And He loves you. All the scriptures won't be real or effective until the spoken word goes forth. See, there will come a day, when it will be you, and only you against the voice of discouragement. When that day comes be prepared. Learn to be an encourager of the brethren, but learn to encourage yourself. For me it snuck up on me, slowly, but surely pulling on me.

Today, speak to yourself with "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs". For God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, sound mind and love.

Selah.

Shalom.

We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement to you. Please tell us, and please email it to someone else. If you have a prayer request, please mail it to us. We want to stand with you, battling spiritual wickedness, seeing people made free. We want to serve our brother and sister.

In the Service of Christ for His Glory,
Lee Johndrow
