Pillars of clouds and fire...
(If it is welcome and a blessing, send it on to others,Lee)
Today, another beautiful day. Bright, sunny, beautiful. And while I sit here at my computer, my heart goes out to those, who don't see it. Many of you received a letter from me yesterday regarding the incarceration of a missionary on false accusations.
Eugene is not allowed outside. The brightness of this day is not available to him. There are many others who in the pursuit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, do not see the sun, and the brightness of the day.
Life is too short. I have seen in the last few days, people embroiled in controversy over what they believe and what they see as being right. I have come to the place where I really don't want to be hindered with the things of the world. When your name is Eugene and sit within a cell, I am sure the brightness of the day is important. I realize that there is the SON. Yet what I am saying here is, is what you argued about yesterday, remembered? Have you shut out the sun(and the SON!) over the pettiness.
When I ask people in the world, where they are at, so often there is such a heaviness and a burden. And when I see those issues, creeping into the church...We are to be a glorious bride for the coming of Christ. When was the last time you saw a bride going to her wedding in despair. Heavy laden with the cares of the world.
Just the fact that you have a hope of where you are going and who you will be with, shouldbring unspeakable joy. It should raise a desire in you to be part of life, and enjoy the fullness of it. To go and enjoy the minutes you have here on earth.
A friend of mine, was recently widowed. In a second her life partner, removed. Her encouragement to those she knows, is to enjoy the fullness of life here on earth. Be who you are, do what you can. Do not expect life to go without you. Jump into the refreshing, enjoy the brightness of the SON. For without Him, life can be drudgery. But with Him, all things are possible.
Today, go for a five minute walk. Pray to the Father to release the gifts you have been holding on, that others might blossom. Encourage someone, call someone, bring sunshine into their life. Shake off the cobwebs of winter.
Be a recipient of what God is offering.
Selah.
Shalom.
We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement
