Yesterday morning was an awesome service.

As the prophecies came forth, and the testimonies came forth it was evident that we had moved into a new place with the Lord. When I came up to give the message I had, I was in expectancy as I saw that each word brought forth by individuals was a preparation of the message I was to give.

It was a message about sacrificial living and obedience, and God had "leaked" it to our people. That is a powerful statement about what God can do when it comes to uniting people and their hearts.

But it only comes one way.

When we place our eyes on the Creator and submit to Him, we are purposing our hearts on His desires and not ours. And the blessings begin to flow. It is not a forced unity, but a Godly, Spirit driven unity that brings the hearts of believers to oneness. Tina said to me after two women had come forth with prophecy and words that the Lord had given them, that our "spiritual children" were growing up. One of these women often sought man's ccounsel because she did not believe God could speak to her. The result of doing for the Lord as He asked, was 2 nights of Him waking her up. The other lady has a prophetic insight, that has been developing over the year she has been with the Lord. Her word was pointed and delivered with the heart of the One who created her.

And maybe the main message of this morning isn't that God talked to these ladies. But why He talked to them. Let's face facts. He has used a donkey and a burning bush to get His point across to man. What is the reason?

If I didn't know better I would say it has to do with a desire to please the Lord. God wants to speak to those who don't put other things before Him.

One lady shared how God listed her betrayals line by line in the early morning hours. God explained that what she put before Him was "before" Him and He could not reach her. In my message I used an example of a stone in the river, where the water did not touch directly behind the stone as it flowed. Our idolatry, our placing other things before the Lord, was that stone. We were behind it. We saw God(the river flowing by) but we were dry. Idolatry-spiritual adultery-the practice of placing something else on God's throne. Maybe its a car or a home, a spouse or a child-whatever it is, true love for the Lord removes the idols and places Jesus on the throne of our lives.

Our heart pointed towards Him. Desiring of Him to be our all. It works inefficiently any other way. The love of the Father within us loving Him as well as others.
