Grace.
Not the kind that comes in a box!!! I realized that myself and many others put grace in a box. Now I am not talking about "sloppy agape", artificial grace that helps no one, usually allowing them to stay in sin, but real grace. God's kind of grace.
The kind that continues to pour blessing on this soul that continues to make errors. I need grace to carry out that which I have to do. Without grace I would be dead and so would most of you.
It's something to think about. How do we give grace like God gives grace? I tend to measure it out!!!
Something to think about. And here is how it fits in...
The Lord has put me in a new area this week. A few new directives.
1. This mailing is now 7 days a week. (No more sleeping in!)
2. I am taking the last years dailies and putting them into a "booklet" as I don't have the money to publish, so it will be a little more expensive but available. Many of you have asked for last years. So it will take me a month or so to assemble and get it ready. If you are interested write me. I know you have wanted these for friends and family.
3. I believe he has asked me to put together the previous month's mailings and make them available on hard copy to you and those you desire to bless. So I am doing that.
I have need for God's grace in this area, as its one thing to send things out all over the world, but when people ask and write and are willing to bless the ministry financially, I begin to get a little embarassed. I find it difficult to receive in the first place of anything. I remember a friend taking me out to dinner one time and berating me because I wouldn't receive his blessing of dinner. "Would you deny me a blessing?" It went through me like a knife. I realized that I had "denied" may blessings in my short career as a Christian. The Lord has given me figures for the book(which will be a while) and the monthly mailing, including an annual rate. I am going to put this up on the 'net with full instructions and content etc. over the weekend.
God's grace. I need it. I can't buy it. It's free. One of the most difficult concepts for this man to comprehend or latch onto. Grace is scary when you come from the lifestyle I left. One of performance and mistrust of something for "free".
I am nervous about doing this. God's grace. "Keep saying it, Lee." Here I am Lord.
I know that there is something great and mighty around the corner and maybe its just "a case of jitters" about the enormity of what I believe God is doing. Since this fast I have watched things fall into line that have been out there hanging for years in a few cases. God's grace.
I need it. You need it. We can't but it. We can't work for it. We must receive it.
"Unmerited, undeserved favor. The power to carry out our calling and overcome sin."
Do you need some more? Go to His throneroom and appropriate grace. Today. While you are thinking about it. It is not something you can do in your own strength.
Selah.
Shalom.
We pray for you, each and every day. If this is an encouragement to you. Please tell us, and please email it to someone else. If you have a prayer request, please mail it to us. We want to stand with you, battling spiritual wickedness, seeing people made free. We want to serve our brother and sister.
In the Service of Christ for His Glory,
