Go unto them.

The sequel to "come unto me" is go unto them. What eternal benefit is there if we do no go unto them and have only lived with Him, bringing no one with us? I recognize we will have salvation, but the coolest thing about having salvation is the ability to give it away.

But you and I can not give that which we do not have. A working relationship with the Father is necessary for us to move upward and onward with Him. So going unto the Father gives you all that you need to bring to those who truly need Him.

Yesterday was not a quiet day. And when I came to this place where I had just seen the devastation of sin in someone's life and the effects that rippled out from this rock thrown in the pond, I knew that God's love still has so many places to go before I leave this earth. I knew that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has people to touch. If this person had a working relationship with the Father the seduction of sin would not have permeated lives, but when we don't know who our "Father" is the teachings that are so necessary to growth are not in place.

People's lives devastated because of lack of knowledge. Snuffed out for eternity because of the choices made here on earth. Because the going out unto them hasn't been done. There are so many scriptures that indicate the need to take what we have and give to them.

How many of you know what the best pizza place is in your town? How many of you have told your friends? Right!!! How many of you know where to get the best buys on computers and food? Or perhaps everyone comes to you because you "have a friend in the business". How many of you have ever been so excited about a product or sold something?

So here's Jesus...have you told everyone about your friend??? Have you told others the gifts He has for them make Santa Claus look like bargain basement? Have you told others about your friend with health, wealth and happiness that makes the prepared statements of multi-level companies pale in comparison?

You and I have a friend who owns the cattle on a thousand mountains, brings sight to the blind and hearing to the deaf, causes the lame to walk and the dead to rise, but have you told any one??

If we do not go unto them they will not, can not know who is on their side. As I help 6 people repair the devastation in their lives, I know that it could have, would have been different if Jesus had been brought.
