I am amazed at the amount of people requesting prayer for others(as well as themselves!) and I was mentining last night about the business in our lives and how it is often difficult to find the time to pray. For those that have prayer ministries you probably understand what I am speaking about, but I want to speak to those of you who don't and NEED to.

I suspect that there are a great deal of people that are on this list who have been called to pray and aren't. The excuses don't count any more because, the Bible says that the "Spirit makes intercession through you". It means to "provide a covering of prayer over one", resulting from a conversation with the One who can help you-JESUS! It gets very exciting to receive prayer requests and I will tellyou outside of the numerous prayer requests I receive at the site, I receive 4-5 lists a day that require prayer and the average file is 15-30k(a lot!) of information.

Here's a little challenge. Are you willing to devote an hour to prayer on a daily basis? You don't have to write and tell me, but many of you have been spoken to by the Lord, Last night we had a situation that required prayer and a half hour goes quickly. I wake up often in the middle of the night praying for someone. When I drive I pray. Since I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost(Spirit-if you want to dress Him up-make Him palatable. Please understand I tried to get comeholyghost.com but it was taken!) I find it easy to pray and pray a lot.

Sometimes it takes a while to "prime" the pump and get into it.But when the God of all creation begins to make intercession through you, things begin to happen. If the people on this list who haven't been praying regularly, plugged in, the miracles we see and hear about would be in your lives.

We have to go beyond our flesh and make quality decisions to change our lives. There are often quick, simple remedies to finances and sickness that are just around the corner when we ask. Because of the diversity of this list, the varying maturity of believers, and doctrinal issues, we are often at a disadvantage, and yet the Spirit of God is here.

I am contemplating a on line site for introducing people to the the basics of Christianity. This prayer letter is somewhat of a start. If you WON'T pray(Christians are not allowed to say can't, as "we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us."), the things of the Spirit will not be revealed to you. You will find reading your Bible(you do read it, right?) a drudgery without the aid and teaching of the Holy Ghost. When I read I ask Him to guide me.

When we have churches that do not pray, do not read their Bibles and choose not to praise and worship and Almighty God, things don't happen. Period. End of statement. The best preacher in the world can not move you, until you move you. Your prayer is the key to turning on the motor of the world. A single prayer has a multitude of results. Darkness flees at the name of Jesus, angels move at the whisper of intercession to battle spiritual darkness, and the Lord lifts His hands. You have a God, whose name is Jesus, interceding on your behalf. Out of love for you.

Today. Do you have an hour to empower the Great Physician for healing needs,the Wonderful Counselor to help a friend through troubles, the Convictor of our soul to bring salvation to the lost?

The littlest person can be the greatest demon slayer through the words of prayer.
